Hi I'm Kaden

AFHS Class of 2013. I love sports and recreation. Serving a mission in Madrid, Spain. And, of course, I'm a mormon.

About Me

I was born on September 6th, 1994. I really enjoy participating in and watching sports. Whether it be Basketball, Football, Golf, you name it. This has been a passion of mine for quite some time now. I am leaving everything behind on July 23rd, 2013 to begin serving a full-time mission in Madrid, Spain. I am so grateful for this opportunity to go and serve these people, as well as serve our Lord. Plus, Spain just looks like a really cool place! I can't wait to be able to go and live there for 2 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I know with all my heart that this is the only true church on the earth today. We have the fullness of Christ's gospel, and for that I am so grateful. I was born into the church, but that doesn't mean that I didn't have to go through my own conversion process. I have prayed to know if these things are true, and I can testify that I know it. Joseph Smith really did see God the Father and His son Jesus Christ, and he really did translate the Book of Mormon into English. I can not express my gratitude for all the sacrifices he and other early saints made to ensure that the work of the Lord would carry forth. Even in the giving of their own lives. I strongly desire for each and every person to be able to learn of this, the truth. If you feel like you're losing faith, please offer up sincere prayer to God, asking for help to come to know of the truthfulness of this gospel. Study the scriptures, listen to General Conference Addresses, and attend your church meetings. By doing this, with real intent, I can promise you that you will come to know for yourself that this church is true. It has been such a blessing in my life, and I desire all to come and partake of the fruits of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I have been active in the church my whole life, and I have served in a variety of capacities. During my Senior Year of High School, for example, I served as a member of the Seminary Council. Seminary is a program offered through the church that allows you to go and learn gospel principles as a class at school (taken during a free period or early in the morning). I helped to plan devotionals and assemblies, picked themes for the year, looked for opportunities to serve our fellow classmates, et cetera. I am so thankful for this experience, as well as the many others I have had throughout my life. I just love this church!
