Hi I'm Jordan

I'm from Utah. Love to play sports. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I just graduated high school, and I'm preparing to serve in the El Salvador Santa Ana/Belize mission. In high school I played basketball and football. As cliche as it may sound, I loved doing these things because of the lessons I learned, how I was able to grow, and the people I met.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church with loving parents, and other family members. This helped me to grow in the gospel, and learn of it's teachings. I guess I've always had a testimony that was based on the testimonies of those around me. I didn't receive a personal testimony until I read the Book of Mormon, and the spirit testified the truthfulness of it's teachings every time I focused on the words, and prayed sincerely. I have a strong testimony of prayer. Heavenly Father is real, and he listens to us as we pray. I know this because I have felt his love, and seen his blessings in my life. I know that we can ask him, even for the smallest things, and through our faith we can receive these blessings. I am grateful to know that the church is true, and it means a lot to me.

How I live my faith

Currently I'm preparing to serve a mission. I read the scriptures and Preach my Gospel in order to learn more about the gospel, and how to recognize the spirit as much as I can before I leave. Since I'm leaving soon I don't have a calling, but I try to go to church every Sunday, and make weekly goals to progress spiritually.
