Hi I'm Caroline

I am a future missionary from California and love music, exploring, and family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am taking a break from my studies at Brigham Young University to serve a mission in Resistencia, Argentina from February 2015-August 2016. I grew up in Central California with 5 brothers and sisters. I love listening to music and playing the cello and piano. I also enjoy nature, traveling, art, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love how I feel when I read the scriptures, go to church, and pray to my Father in Heaven. I have felt God's love for me throughout my life and realize that I am so blessed to have the gospel. God truly knows me and knows what I love and if I am humble and looking, I notice simple things in my life that are obviously gifts from God to brighten my day. I love the Plan of Salvation and am so grateful that I can be with my family forever. I know that this church is true and if the commandments are kept and you have a desire to be better, you will have peace and joy in your life. Heavenly Father wishes for each of us to have this peace and joy so He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to this earth to establish His church. I know that Jesus Christ suffered for me and you so that we have the glorious opportunity to return to our Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because I love Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am living my faith by taking this time to serve the Lord on a mission. The gospel has brought me numerous blessings, opportunities, and happiness and I am eager to share it with the people of Argentina. Everyday I strive to be better and gain a closer relationship with my Heavenly Father so that I can be the best missionary that I can be. Developing and maintaining righteous habits increase my sensitivity to the spirit so that I am guided everyday.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

We participate in the ordinance of baptism to show our faith in Jesus Christ. He was baptized when He came to this earth and we are to follow this example. Baptism grants us membership into Christ's church and increases the blessings in our lives. A couple of these blessings are the forgiveness of our sins and promise to live again with God as long as we accept Christ, follow Him in all we do, and always keep His commandments.
