Hi I'm Brandan Williams

I was born into the LDS Church. Have lived in new jersey and northern Utah. I am heading out on a mission to Guatemala.

About Me

I was born in Ogden Utah. When I was two I moved to new jersey for my dad's work until I was five when we moved back to Ogden. There I went to elementary through fifth grade. Then I moved again to Farr West Utah where I grew up through my teen years. My family has been active in the church for all my life and I have come to grow in and love my church.

Why I am a Mormon

It began at birth for me since I was born into the church. Most of my relatives are LDS also although some are more active than others and they are all struggling with their own issues and trying to be the best person that they can be. When I was young my parents made me go to church and all the activities and as I have grown older that has changed to expectation and not a requirement. If I so chose I could leave and go my own route to the disappointment to my parents and family but I don't want to leave. I feel and know that this is what I'm meant to do in this part of my life. I have a growing testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel that I have learned in my youth.

How I live my faith

While growing up I have strived to accomplish all that has been expected and given to me including callings, going to church and mutual whenever I can even if I didn't feel like it that week and serving others whenever I had a chance. While I was not perfect I try to be as close as I can. Like anyone else I have my weak points, some I am still trying to work on. The older I get the more I learn and the deeper I go and the harder I try to learn. I am still growing and always will be in one way or another.
