Hi I'm Benjamin Lieske

I grew up living the gospel. I am a trained singer. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student. I recently finished my first year there studying music. In high school I did a lot of extra curricular activities. I was in debate, on the football team, I was leads in my school play, and a part of my schools advanced choir. I love singing. That is why I am studying music. Last year I played Don Ottavio in Mozarts Don Giovanni. I have been taking voice lesson for three years, and I train mainly in the classical genre. I enjoy playing basketball with my family. I consider my life to be extremely happy and rewarding. I am always seeking a good laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, first of all, because I have received an answer from God telling me it is true, and, secondly, it brings me so much happiness. I have lived most of my life being a part of the Mormon church. It has allowed me to make long lasting friendships, and has pushed me towards a successful life. I feel God's love for me everyday through so many different ways. I see his love through the beauty of the world, through the feelings I receive, and all of the great experiences that he has allowed me to have. I have been taught through this gospel that life is an adventure waiting to happen. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of this world, and that he loves and knows each and every one of us. I know that we are sons and daughters of God, and that God desires us to live with him for eternity. I know the book of mormon to be the word of God. It has brought me so much happiness throughout my life. I know that Joseph was a true prophet and restored the only true church. I have felt love and had wonderful experiences that make it sound stupid for me to think other wise. This is the only true church on the face of the earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by mainly trying my best to follow what God wants me to do. I have been called to serve a mission for the LDS church. I have been a leader of the youth my age for a while. I have spent my teenage years planning activities, and ways for people my age to grow. I go to church every Sunday, and read my scripture as often as possible. I participate in the seminary and institute programs, which are programs made to help high school, and college age kids live the gospel.
