Hi I'm Storm Thomas

I'm a home grown small town girl and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in central Utah and am the oldest child of the family. I have two crazy little brothers who are soo much fun! In high school I enjoyed being involved in a bunch of different things, I was a part of a few different clubs, was a member of the student council, I tried tennis just for fun, and I loved, LOVED softball. After I had graduated I got a job as a CNA at the local hospital and have worked there for a year. I am now headed to serve in the Pennsylvania Pittsburgh Mission, and I can't wait to meet the people and begin my service!

Why I am a Mormon

Through all the experiences I have had in my life, I have never had anything that has brought me more joy than the knowledge that I have in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm the only active member in my immediate family, and it hasn't always been easy helping my family understand why I choose to live the way I live, but I do it because I know that it's true. I was able to gain my knowledge through the gift of the Holy Ghost. We are able to receive this knowledge by excising faith through sincere prayer to our Father in Heaven, asking for him to reveal such things to us. I know that as we come to understand more about the gospel, the more we are able to feel and understand the love our Savior has for us. I know that there is no challenge, or trial that we face that we can't conquer through the help of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He knows our hearts, and he truly understands ALL of our different situations, because he know's us personally by name, and he suffered every pain that we feel so that we wouldn't have to do it alone. When we feel that there is no one else to help or understand us, he does. We just need to reach up and take his hand, He will lead us through.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a little better each day through following the example of my Savior Jesus Christ so that I can become more like Him. I try to be more patient, kind, loving, quicker to forgive, and looking for ways I can serve others. I have the oppertunity to teach 3 and 4 year olds in my ward each Sunday. I love teaching them! They are so fun and eagre to learn and answer questions. I try my best to think of fun ways I can teach that holds the childrens attention as well as helps them feel involved to help them learn.
