Hi I'm Cameron Chester

I grew up in Utah. Recently moved my Senior year of High School to Maryland, just outside of DC. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am your typical extreme sports kind of guy. Im always looking for an adventure, and that adrenalin rush! I enjoy wake boarding, boating, snowboarding, four wheeling, camping, playing baseball love playing golf and I also enjoy playing the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born into the church, I still had the option as a kid. That choice I made as an 8 year old has led me to many blessings. Now, i still continue to follow His gospel because of the peace, happiness, re-essurance, and blessings that follow as I keep my self clean and study Christ teachings. As humans, it is in our nature that we mess up, or sin. Christ has blessed us with the Atonement. This Atonement has been key into my personal conversion and continual happiness. The Church and its teachings has brought me true happiness and provided comfort during hard times. Now being Mormon has raised me to have higher standards and to be a christ-like example. Ultimately, that is why I am Mormon because of the pure and true happiness the church and its teachings bring to me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday of my life. At times it is a challenge, but it is totally worth it. I work around my community, and I always try to live up to high standards to give off the right impression. Almost every time I'm working for an individual, the topic of my faith always comes up and it gives me an opportunity to share. I also work with the youth. It gives me the opportunity to be an example through my work, to show how a man should perform and live up to high standards.

What is being a Mormon like?

Cameron Chester
Being Mormon can be tough at times, but the blessings of being mormon and following the teachings is amazing. By following the teachings, you stand out either in a crowd or at school. I have found that when you obey the commandments and teachings, you have this light or good vibe inside you that will bring people closer. Especially your family! Standing out of a crowd is good, and being Mormon helps with that. Not for popularity, but to spread the light within to others. The "light" within is being christ-like. Show more Show less
