Hi I'm Elder Dacoycoy

I grew up in the Philippines, and I love music. I'm a mormon.I knew it, i live it, i love it!

About Me

Currently, I was studying in the major of Education for two years only. I chose this course because of my passion in music, especially singing, and playing piano. It uplifts me all the time were I played hymns. When I'm bored in school, I use my extra hours to practice and learn more, until I was called to be the pianist in the ward. It requires long patience,time-bounded, and perseverance. I realized that it wasn't hard for me since then to be a musically devoted person, its a matter of faith that God will strengthen our weaknesses.(Ether 12:27)

Why I am a Mormon

I will continue to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ because I found out that He helped me change my whole life. I know that He lives. He redeemed me from death because He was resurrected, I can be able to return to my Father in Heaven. So the chance to be like our Father in heaven and to be with Him is to keep the commandments of God unto the end. All that He wants us to have is a sincere repentance so we can be forgiven by the infinite atonement of Jesus Christ and qualified in His Kingdom. I enjoy being an Lds because I enjoy the blessings when I keep the commandments of God. So,how do you? Will you grab this opportunity?

How I live my faith

To be a Young Men President and Ward Mission Leader in my ward was challenging. Showing a good example has led me ways to discipline my young men, teaching with a greater effort and following Christlike attributes. When i was called to be a young men president and ward mission leader, we visits the members every sunday in the afternoon so that by that effort we can help the Bishop and missionaries. I have seen their joy when we leave a prayer from house to house. It was a big help in proclaiming the gospel and reactivating the members,if emergency transfer occur, anyone of my youth could help the missionaries locate homes.I am really blessed to that calling. It strengthened my relationship to God by serving them and to their families. Because of these, young men prepares to serve on a mission at the age of seventeen! We are God's children. I have been called in this work to love this future generation.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Elder Dacoycoy
It is the same as the Bible. It contains word of God which was written by the prophets of ancient times in America.God commanded Lehi and his family to depart from Jerusalem with an Egyptian language to live in America as the promise land. When the people rejected the prophets in America, Moroni the last prophet of that time hid it up on a hill. After many centuries, when Joseph Smith was called to be a prophet, that same person who hid that Gold Plates appeared to Joseph Smith to direct him where it is being located in an Angel Form. When he has found it God Helped him to translate it in English Language. It is now called as The Book of Mormon,Another Testament of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
