Hi I'm Victoria

I'm from Utah. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a daughter of God. I love being a Mormon!

About Me

I'm 15 years old and I'll be a sophomore next year! I was born in Arizona, but I have lived in Utah for the past 14 years of my life. I love playing tennis, the cello, and the piano. I love making crafts and doing anything crafty. I love participating in church activities such as e.f.y., girls camp, youth conference, oakcrest, etc. I love my family and my friends. I am a mia-maid in Young Women's. I have received my young women's medallion and wear it with pride.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because it is always the one thing in my life that I can count on. No matter what I do, or what changes in my life, this church will always be there for me. Jesus Christ died for all of us, so that we can return to live with him again. I honor his great sacrifice, therefore I try to be the best I can be so that I can live with him again. Whenever I go to church, read my scriptures, or pray, I always feel happier and at peace. This is because I have the spirit with me when I do these things. I know that this church is true. (The only true and living church on this earth). I know that I am a daughter of God and that he knows me and loves me; and he loves you too. I know that Jesus Christ is my brother and that he also knows and loves everyone. My testimony means everything to me. My testimony helps guide me through mortality. I know that I used to live with my Father in Heaven and that my number one goal in this life is to try to live with him again.

How I live my faith

I am the Mia-Maid president. (I help the girls/youth in my church.) I always try to include everyone in our activities and make girls who are visiting the church or who are new to the church feel welcomed. I believe everyone is a son or daughter of God and I try to see them for who they truly are.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is your affirm knowledge that you know this church is true. It is given to you by the Holy Ghost. A testimony won't come overnight. You are constantly be building your testimony. Some main things in a testimony may include; that you know God lives and loves you, that Jesus Christ is your savior, and that he died for you (see 1 John 4:14015)., that through Christ's atonement, you can live with him again if you follow God's commandments, that Jospeh Smith was called by God to be a prophet in our day, that Christ's church was restored to the earth through Joseph Smith, that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is "the only true and living church upon the face of the whole earth" (D&C 1:30)., that our Church is led by a prophet of God who receives revelation for us today, and that The Book of Mormon is the word of God.
