Hi I'm Emily Hague

I was born and raised in Florida, go to school at Brigham Young University, and without a doubt "I'm a Mormon."

About Me

I was born second in a family four. I have an older brother, little brother, and little sister. I was blessed to have been born into the church. I lived in the same house my entire life and then after graduating I moved out to Utah for my freshman year of college. I am interested in all kinds of things. I love playing almost any kind of sport. I've played the piano since elementary school, learned the flute in middle school, and learned to play guitar in college. When I was young my mom taught me to crochet and to sew. I also make jewelry occasionally. I love drawing and photography. Two of my favorite talents are being able to ride the unicycle and juggling. I can't quite do them together yet. I love learning. I can't quite narrow down what my favorite subjects are because I love being able to know about the world I live in. The more you know the more you can do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's church established again on the earth. I know it in my heart and in my mind. It is more real to me than anything else. Everything else around me can change but that knowledge I have will never fade. The Book of Mormon is truly another testimony of Christ. Joseph Smith translated it through the power of God. We have a prophet to lead and guide us today. Heavenly Father hasn't just left us alone expecting us to handle life all by ourselves. He has provided a way to return to his presence and it is through His church that he has established again in our day.

How I live my faith

I do many things in my life because of my faith and what I believe in. It's not just going to church every Sunday or waking up before 6 a.m. everyday before school to have scripture study at my church. I use what I have learned from the gospel to guide almost every choice that I make. I learn to love others and learn to see them how they can become. I also see what kind of person I can become. I try to become a better person and more like my Savior as best I can. I am also living my faith by going to serve a mission in Salt Lake City, Utah.
