Hi I'm Tay

I am a college graduate, a wife,mother and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a college graduate, a teacher, the wife of the most amazing man for 13 years, and a mother to my perfect daughter. I am a loyal sister to my 4 siblings and I absolutely love family time. I enjoy cooking, decorating, helping, and I am a jig-saw puzzle fanatic. I also have a passion for taking care of others, reading, crocheting. My greatest hope is to someday have my daughter to become devoted to the gospel, and happy to be alive.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that God lives, he loves me and has a plan for me. I know that I really can be with my husband forever. This knowledge helps me in my everyday life and when I have trials. It gives me the courage to take important decisions, make the better choice and not be afraid of the future. A supremely important principal is that God loves everyone who has been born on this earth and wants each one of us to progress and prevail. The Mormon religion provides an unparalleled view on the purposes of life. Being a Mormon to me means that I strive to follow my Savior Jesus Christ and all that that encompasses. Being a Mormon to me means sacrifice of temporal things for things of a much greater nature. It means everything to me because of the true peace and joy it brings into my life and for that I am so incredibly grateful. I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and I have studied it. I've prayed to know the truth of it. God has heard my prayers and let me know in my heart and in my mind that the gospel is the truth of this world.

How I live my faith

I believe we are here on earth to have joy and to learn to love. It seems to me that those two things are pretty connected, because the more I focus on the happiness of others the happier I am. I live my faith by reading the Book of Mormon every day, and praying throughout the day. I live my faith by remembering the promises I made to God on the day I was baptized, and acting on those promises
