Hi I'm Rebecca

I'm from Las Vegas. I go to Brigham Young University.

About Me

I was born in San Diego and we eventually moved to my dad's hometown, Las Vegas, he retired from the Navy. I go to Brigham Young University and major in History. I enjoy bowling. I love science fiction, comic books, movies, and cartoons. I am the middle child with 3 sisters and 1 brother. Currently serving a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both members of the church. My mom was raised in the gospel, but my dad joined in his late twenties. I was baptized at the age of 8 on my 8th birthday. Things don't always make perfect sense when you're a kid, but I knew it was the right thing to do. My life was not easy growing up in Las Vegas. There is a lot going on in this city that isn't good, but having my faith helped me through troubling times. I reaffirmed my faith and I was able to remain strong in my actions. I am a Mormon because I know this is what's true.

How I live my faith

I taught the five year olds in my ward. Each child has a unique spirit and they teach me every week. I feel the love of God through teaching these children. I love serving others and strive to find opportunities to help in anyway I can. Through following and fulfilling my callings I know I am blessed. Now I know I am blessed as I am serving the Lord with my calling as a missionary.
