Hi I'm Tamazine

I'm the youngest of 11 kids. I love being in the open country, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest child of 11 kids, and have 23 nieces and nephews. My family is the most important part of my life and I love them very much. I love playing sports and played both volleyball and basketball in junior high and high school. I love being in the country, and out of the city. I love the simple life it is; going to bed with the sun and waking up with the sun. I rather ride a horse than drive a car. :) I love playing the piano and have played since I was seven years old. At the age of 16 I had finished my classes and passed my state boards to become a CNA. I graduated high school in 2012 and from there attend BYU- Idaho for one year and plan to go back to finish my nursing degree.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon because of the truths that I learn and the happiness they bring me. I know who I am and what God expects me to be. I know that God sent His son, who was more than willing to give His own life to save mine. Because Jesus Christ suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane I am able to be forgiven of my sins when I fall short. Jesus Christ wants us to live with Him again and in order for us to do that, we have to be baptized just as He was and follow in His foot steps. Just as they had a Prophet in ancient times it is important to have a Prophet of God in our day to be a mouth piece for God and to help guide His children (us). I know that Joseph Smith truly saw what he said he did and that if any of one desires to have an answer from God, we can receive a conformation of our own. I know that when I have a family of my own, and when I hold true to the covenants I have made, I will be able to be with my family forever. "For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God" Alma 34:32 This life is not all we have, there is much more. Now is our chance (and choice) to show God our obedience to Him and our willingness to follow His plan for us. All of these truths help me understand my life's purpose and what I truly want to live for; And its not to glorify me, but to glorify my Heavenly Father, to potentially help me to become more like Him and be perfected in Him. "Therefore, let us glory, yea, we will glory in the Lord; yea, we will rejoice, for our joy is full; yea, we will praise our God forever. Behold, who can glory too much in the Lord?..." Alma 26:16 These things bring so much comfort and knowledge to my life, and I would truly be lost with out them.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing the happiness and love I have for my Savior with others. Just as a member of a family contributes for the well being of their family I try my best to be a positive, helpful, and willing member of not only my family, but also for my church and community. Currently I am serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Temple Square, in Salt Lake City Utah. I also had the amazing opportunity to serve for over 3 months in Jacksonville Florida. Through both of these experiences I have come to realize the extreme love God has for each and every one of His children. It has been the biggest blessing in my life to be able to represent my Savior and to teach others about His love and ultimate sacrifice. It has truly taught me how to better exemplify and follow my Savior, Jesus Christ.
