Hi I'm Mandy

I am from Provo UT. I am a dancer and dance teacher of all ages. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a sophomore in college studying to be a business major. Hoping to get an MBA. I have been dancing since I was a tiny girl and I have recently started teaching, which I think is even better! I love working with little kids and teaching them to work hard for something and learn! I love swimming and boating and being outside. But I also love being able to come inside and watch a good movie or talk with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, so I don't have a huge conversion story. But when I was about 10 or 11 years old my grandpa, who was not a member, after years of my parents trying to teach him decided to let the missionaries teach him. One particular missionary, who only had 2 weeks left, felt the impression to sing one of our Hymns, Joseph Smiths First Prayer. As I sat watching this young 21 year old boy soften the heart of my 70-something year old grandpa through song I listened to the words for the first time, and I just knew it was true. I knew then for myself that Joseph Smith was a prophet. And because I knew this, all other things were then true. The Book of Mormon, the restoration, and new revelations given to Prophets. From then on it was a growing process, piece by piece I learned more and the spirit testified to me piece by piece they were true and it continues to every day.

How I live my faith

I love working with the youth in the church! When I was a youth I was a leader and helped a lot of the younger girls get excited about all the activities we do! I also loved working with the other women my age being a visiting teaching supervisor. I love talking with all the girls and helping them feel welcome and loved.
