Hi I'm Paul

I'm a husband, I'm father of four, I'm a researcher, I'm a cyclist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm always asking questions. My wife finds it exhausting. Luckily, as a researcher, I get to ask questions for a living. When I'm not at work, I'm either with my wife and kids, or I'm on a bicycle.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have faith in God's promises. He and I have a good relationship going. He promised peace as I follow Him, and I've found it time and time again. All the best things in my life I can trace back to my decisions to follow Christ and obey Him. I love my life, although I don't deserve it. But I am happy to keep feasting at Christ's table, and know He'll keep it coming. After all, He promised.

How I live my faith

I love making friends through my church. We're often asked to visit each other, and to help each other think about Jesus, pray, and study the scriptures. These visits often start out as assignments, but very soon they become friendships. We start following each other's lives and becoming really interested in each other both in and out of church.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Take an interest in Him, spend time with Him, and do kind things for Him. Take an interest in Him by thinking about Him from time to time. Spend time with him by reading scriptures, praying, and attending church. Be kind to Him by loving the people around you. As you come to know God, you'll want your relationship with Him to last forever. You'll want His forgiveness. You'll want Him around more often. You can have these things by establishing a committed relationship with him through repentance and baptism into His church. It may sound intimidating, but it's worth it! Show more Show less
