Hi I'm Harrison Larsen

Right now, I am living in Texas, serving as a missionary for the Church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Harrison and I come from a family of 7. I love to read, watch movies, and study history. I also like running and singing. I lived most of my childhood years in Utah, but I am currently living my dream of serving a mission, and I love every minute of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of this church. Although I was born into the Church, I can honestly say that over time, I have developed my own testimony of it. I am part of this religion because through it, I know about the afterlife, our lives before this earth, the nature of God, my purpose on this earth, and the sanctity of marriage, families, and other basic but very important things. I know these things because the Holy Spirit of God has whispered it to my soul. This may seem like a grand and ridiculous statement to make, but I know that every person on earth can feel this and feel true joy forever and ever. It is my desire that everybody should know about this church because I know that it would bring them so much happiness. I have seen so many people change through this Gospel. I have seen family problems be resolved, bad habits left behind, and addictions overcome. More than that, I have experienced personally how these things have happened in my life. The joy that the Gospel brings is like nothing else that you can find, for it is only through the Gospel that we can truly discover how much God loves us. I say these things in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I am living my faith as a missionary, but I had countless experiences growing up that shaped who I will be for the rest of my life that were a direct result of others living our faith. I have always been so blessed to be surrounded by so many co-workers, neighbors, friends, family members, teammates, etc. that have lived our faith so well simply by living how Jesus Christ would live if He were here today. That is the basis of our faith - that we should strive to represent Christ in all of our actions. I try to live my faith by following others that have shaped my life and doing my best to be an upstanding example to those around me. One of the most important things that I have discovered is that no matter where you live, who your friends are, where you work, or what challenges you are currently facing, you can live the faith by staying true to your standards and going through life with a smile on your face.
