Hi I'm Brooke

I grew up in Utah, I'm studying costume design, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a costume design student studying at University. I have loved every minute of it. I love meeting people who value Theater and Art as much as I do. I enjoy meeting new people, walking, painting, art of any kind, and baby sitting my nieces and nephews. I am the youngest of six children.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because I know for myself that my Heavenly Father loves me, and this is his true church. I have felt his love through this Gospel on so many occasions. Sometimes it may seem easier to not follow the commandments, or not go to church meetings. But the positive influence that these things have on my life is evidence that it is not about what seems easier in that moment, but about how Heavenly Father can help our lives be better, and happier in the long run.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve my community in a few ways. I have been able to help kids who have struggled with reading, like I used to, by volunteering at the school by my house. And I am about to embark on a journey to share my beliefs with the beautiful people of Florida.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Yes, I do. I believe that we have a prophet like Moses today because I have asked, through prayer, and received a confirmation through a feeling of peace and truth that he is the true Prophet today. Prophets from the bible received personal revaluation. Every six months we have a meeting that we call General Conference, where we hear from the prophet. He then shares the personal revelation he has received. But you don't have to stop there, you can take what he said, ask God if it is true, and correct, and receive an answer for yourself.
