Hi I'm Wyatt

I come from the land of potatos and a family of boys in Southeast Idaho. I love sports, music, and good food. I am a Mormon

About Me

I was born in Logan Utah, moved to Idaho when I was 2, and have never regretted it! I love Idaho, and I love potatoes! I've got 5 younger brothers so you can only imagine what our house is like. Things can get pretty competitive at my house, but i absolutely love my family. Dad gave us a love for sports, and Mom slide in a love of music. Thanks to her I can play the piano and even sing a little bit. I love being outdoors, riding horses, and hanging out with my friends. Everything will be ok in the end, if it's not ok, then it's not the end! I love my family, I love this Church, and I love my Savior!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because i know it is true. When i was younger my parents took me to church and i relied heavily on there testimony. Now that i am older, i have read the book of mormon, prayed about it, and know that it is true! I know that Christ lives, and loves each of us. I know he has a plan for us, and that if we come unto him we can return to live with our father in heaven again. I know that Joseph Smith restored the true church, and that he translated the book of mormon, another testament of of Christ. I know that this church is led by a living prophet Thomas S. Monson, and that he receives revelation. I am a Mormon because I have searched, pondered, and prayed to know...and the feelings I have gotten are undeniable.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and as such I am a full time represenative of the church, my family, and most importantly my Savior. I go forth spreading His gospel just like the Apostles in the New Testament. I proclaim the joyous message that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored, that there is a living prophet on the earth today, and that families can be together forever! I strive to set the best example I can be to those around me with my language and conduct. In following the example of my Savior, abiding by the standards of God, and being obedient to the laws of the Gospel, I know that I can recieve joy in this live and eternal life in the next.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Wyatt
As Mormons, we absolutely love the Bible, and all that it teaches. We know that great sacrifices have been made to bring it forth for our profit and benefit. We know that the Bible is the word of God, reveled to and written down by inspired men who were called as prophets. As we read, apply the principles that are found in the Bible and other scriptures, such as the Book of Mormon, we can gain a deeper understanding of God's will for us, and our lives will be continually blessed as we read of His words.
