Hi I'm Grant

I'm an athlete, nerd, and like to think I'm funny, but I'm really not. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love sports. Football, basketball, badminton, baseball, volleyball, cricket, rugby, crochet, soccer, and about anything in between (although I've only played some of those). I'm also an undercover nerd and I like being in the know on how our world works. Did you know that if you lay out your blood vessels in a straight line, not only would you be dead, but it would be over 3 miles long? While I think to think I'm talented, I know where to draw the line. I have the utmost respect for those with any sort of musical or artistic skill... because I have none. My biggest achievements in life are a roof I helped build, a leg I once saved, and the fact that I'm still kicking today.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because there is no other way! The experiences I've had in my life and the things that I have learned have taught me that there is a God who indeed knows and loves me and as such expects me to do my part. I have not found any other place that expects so much of it's members while at the same time providing the richest blessings. I am a Mormon because I am happy.

How I live my faith

As a Spanish missionary in Jacksonville, FL, I have the opportunity to live my faith literally on my sleeve every single day. I live my faith by taking its principles and applying them into every aspect of my life. Religion is not meant to change who you are, it is meant to make you a better "you". I find new ways every day on how I can improve and progress to become a better disciple of my Savior Jesus Christ and hopefully one day to become like Him.
