Hi I'm Timi Vorimo

I come from Finland. I've produced music for 5 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Timi, a 20 year old young man from Finland. I'm from the capital city area in Finland. I've grown up and lived my whole life in Finland. I have a mom and dad and two siblings. I went to various different international, english-speaking, schools during my school years from kindergarden to high school. After high school I served a full year in the Finnish military after which I have been working as a sales-consultant. I have been preparing to serve a mission during these past two years. I received my call to serve in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. After my mission I am planning on applying to a University to study medicine. I have produced and composed music for about five years as a personal passion. I specifically am interested in composing and producing funky, nu-disko styled music and have been recently been working on an album with my friends from church. Other hobbies include snowboarding during winter and longboarding during the warmer summer months.

Why I am a Mormon

I have received a personal testimony that the church is true.

How I live my faith

I go to my local church sacrament meetings every sunday. I regularly act as an English translator during the meetings. After the sacrament meeting I have a calling to teach 8-10 year old children in sunday school. During school semesters I regularly attend religious institute on wednesdays. I read The Book of Mormon regularly and kneel to prayer several times a day to keep my spiritual "battery" charged for the day. Now I'm getting ready to serve as a missionary for the church in Ukraine and it has been an overall lifting experience preparing to serve the Lord full-time.

What is faith?

Timi Vorimo
Faith is something that is abundant in all human beings. I would define everyday faith as having an assumption about something that one cannot see or perceive immediately. For example: Jamie is holding an real apple in front of Lisa. Lisa can see, touch and smell that Jamie is holding an apple but she hasn't tasted the apple. Jamie could have a plastic apple in his hand but Lisa trusts Jamie, therefore she has faith that the apple is real. However she cannot know for sure. Faith in God is different. Faith in God is believing in him through the holy spirit so sincerely that one can know for sure that he is there. Show more Show less
