Hi I'm Jarrod Cook

I am a missionary, a farmer, a country boy, a music lover and most importantly I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a life time member of the church. I love Music I feel when I create, perform, and share music that I am working like our father in heaven he creates and shares his beauty with us and when I use music I am sharing something beautiful. I have been blessed to have grown up in a family where hard work is a must I grew up in a farm town we have had cattle, horses, pigs, and goats just to name a few but these animals have helped me grow to have a sense of responsibility and love for those around me. I also am a scouter, I am Eagle scout and I have found that the only way to lead people is to serve them I love service and I love the teachings Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with all of my heart. That love comes from the knwoldege that my family can be together forever, that knowledge is why I am serving a full two year mission for the church in Columbus Ohio. I am a Mormon, I know it I live it I love it

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this church is true. It's as simple as that. I know Joseph Smith is the first prophet of these last days, I know this because of The Book of Mormon, the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ is starts 600 B.C. and ends about 400 A.D. and documents the people who lived in the ancient Americas and Gods dealings with them. The only way to know if the Book of Mormon is true is to read it and to Pray to God with a real intent to know if it is true then he will answer you through the Holy Ghost, or Holy Spirit. He did it for me and He will do it for you

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by serving others I have been blessed to hold a office in all of my youth from being a Deacon to Priest age I have had the opportunity to serve my peers to find there likes and work with them to bring us both closer to Christ. When I was in the youth program we went to Salt Lake City for our super activity we had a nonmember friend who we took with us and we visited different places such as temple square and welfare square as we visited welfare square we got to see how the church helps people all over the world and my friend and I were able to find a strong bond in service and we have been able to become great friends and he was able to be baptized I know that when we serve others that we both grow. I live my faith by serving others.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Jarrod Cook
No service is a huge part of our church. No one in the church is paid. We all serve in the Church but the biggest amount of service goes to nonmember we have over 80,000 young men and women around the world who devote 24 or 18 months of there time and serve everyone around them all day everyday. As well as the Helping hands program and other salvation aid programs that devote there time freely to others in need. service to our fellowman is just as much part of our religion as our Sunday school classes.
