Hi I'm Troy Socha

I have lived my life until now in the Western United States. A member from my birth. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have in many areas in the Pacific Northwest. I have lived in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. I currently live in Utah. I love to discuss the doctrines of the LDS faith and will share it with anyone willing to listen. Some of my hobbies include: fishing, music, album collecting, writing, church activities including scouting (of which i have obtained the eagle scout award, and participating in community service opportunities. I love the church and will continue faithfully in it as I leave for my mission to Scottsdale, Arizona.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and was gradually converted until 16 or 17 when my conversion became a driving force of why i was coming. I have loved the Church all my life, but that was finally when i learned for myself. I now have a testimony of my experience that the church is true. I continue to go to show my love and obedience. I continue to go to show i can do what is required. I continue to go because i love it.I hope that the final reason i go becomes a driving force for every converted member to go and commit.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in my everyday life. I participate in Scouts and youth activities with my ward branch. I attend the block meetings every Sunday and with my young men responsibilities would spend upwards of five hours at the ward building every Sunday. I have recently become an elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Before i was an elder I taught 8 -9 year old girls in primary with another young man in my ward. My life has revolved around the LDS faith. I know with some members of any faith, church molds to their lives instead of their lives molding around church. My life has not been that way. I have lived it since my birth and will continue to live it until my death, holding calling after calling.

Are Mormons Christians?

Troy Socha
We are Christians because Christ is the center of our church. Any religion that puts Christ as its center must be Christian. It is in the very definition of the word. Show more Show less
