Hi I'm Brittin

I grew up in northern California. I volunteer to show my love and to serve. And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in a small farm town in the valley of northern California! I have an amazing family including my parents, 3 brothers, and sister. They're lovable, irritating, loud, and wonderful! :) My younger brother has Down syndrome and I have had to blessed opportunity to love and serve him as we have grown up. I attended Butte College in Oroville, California before as a senior. Then I graduated high school in 2012 and left straightaway to college and attended Brigham Young University in Provo, UT for 2 semesters before coming home. I decided to come home so I could express my love for God and my fellow men by serving them through an LDS mission in Puebla, Mexico. Yay! :) I love the outdoors, food, traveling, and PEOPLE. I am so very intrigued and in love with MUSIC. Learning how to play new instruments or even listening to amazing artists.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, and I thank God for giving me this blessing. My parents brought me up learning gospel truths ever since I was born... but I was converted after I was baptized right before I went into high school. I had a change of heart and the Spirit of the Lord testified to me, stronger than anything that I have ever felt, that THIS is the gospel of Christ. THIS is His will. I do not ever doubt what the Holy Ghost testified to me then and what He testifies to me even now. I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God and that it holds such precious words of caution and wisdom. I know my Savior and my Heavenly Father love and care for me, and I decided that I will follow Them.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to always remember my dear Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. I ponder on His life and sacrifices often. I keep an open and strong relationship with my Heavenly Father. I converse with Him daily and try to follow the life that He sees that will benefit me the absolute most. I repent, attend church meetings, partake of the Sacrament, and try harder next week! I teach the women once a week a lesson after Sacrament meeting to increase all of our knowledge.
