Hi I'm Dallin Toth

I grew up in Alberta. I recenty got married. I'm a student. I speak Spanish. I'm a mormon.

About Me

Last year I got married. We do not have any kids yet. Right now I am working at Richardson Pioneer as a delivery truck driver/crop inputs worker. I like working in agriculture but I am interested in computer systems and how they work. Thats why I am going to school to become either an electrical or software engineer. Last semester I attented the University of Lethbridge. I enjoy bird hunting, camping in the Rockies, biking, running, swimming, and especially fishing. I really love to playing sports like rugby, football, and soccer. I have played on a few Lethbridge teams.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church and my parents have always brought me to it since I can remember. Although it seems like an easy out, I do not go to Church based on this fact alone. Its true my parents influenced me greatly but I go now for my own reasons and my own personal feelings. I was faced with the decision of becoming a missionary for the Church when I turned 19. While at this point in my life I was struggling with my decision to forsake everything and go serve the Lord for two years because I was not yet convinced of the all the Church's teachings. To determine what I should do I prayed and asked God what He thought I should do. While I knelt down I felt a warmth come over me almost like a reassurance to what I was asking was indeed correct. Since that prayer I've known for myself that this is God's only true Church, with a modern day Prophet who can speak on His behalf. I've studied the Book of Mormon and I have prayed to know if it is true. Through the power of the Holy Ghost, I could feel that the answer was yes and I continue to feel that assurance even now. I have learned that God loves me and knows me because I pray each day to Him. Anyone who has questions about God's existence or their own purpose in life ought to read the Book of Mormon. It will clear any doubts and teach you that Christ Himself established the LDS religion. I know these things are true and bear my witness of it in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

Generally I practice my faith with my wife. Each week my wife and I go to Church and learn more about Christ and His teachings. On that day we spend most of our time with friends or family who need our attention. Everyday we abstain from drinking, smoking, eating unhealthily, and drinking tea of coffee. Each day of the week my wife and I pray seperate and together several times. As well as this we study the scriptures both individually and as a family. I was recently called as the Ward Mission Leader. I have responsibilities to our congregation such as visiting other members of the Church and getting them excited to teach their friends about the Gospel. I also work closely with the missionaires and help them connect with the members and the nonmembers of our congregation. I also attend the temple in Cardston once or twice a month.
