Hi I'm Faith

I was born and raised in Nebraska. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born of goodly parents into a family of five children. Both my parents and my four older brothers have each served full time missions for the church. They are awesome individuals and I love them very much. I enjoy reading fantasy and mystery books, watching movies, playing piano, and hanging out with friends and family. I went to a two year college and got my Associates degree in General Studies. I also attended a four year college for one year. I am now serving in the Utah Ogden Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not because I grew up in the church, but because I firmly believe all the things I have been taught since I was a child. I have asked my Heavenly Father if the things I have been taught are true and he has testified the truthfulness of my faith through the warm feelings in my heart. Through all of life's challenges, I have never felt that the message of the church has diminished in importance or truth. I know what I believe and nothing will shake that testimony.

How I live my faith

I think the main way I live my faith is in the way I act and present myself to others. Throughout my life I have had the opportunity to associate with people of different religions. The majority of my friends are not members of my church, but over the years they have grown to understand and respect my beliefs and standards. They recognize what I can and can't do and continually work to include me. They are not afraid to ask me questions and are quick to defend and warn me when a situation has gotten out of hand. Most of the time I don't have to say a word, they just know. It is through my actions that I believe I have impacted them most. I don't currently have a calling in the church because I will be leaving for my mission soon. In the past I have served as an organist, piano player, and a compassionate service committee member.
