Hi I'm Lanieca Falkenberg

I am a singer, I am going to be a Music Teacher, I've been called to serve in the România/Moldova mission and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a University Student going to school to learn music, and to become a teacher. I have a year left of school until I finish my degree, however I have put that on hold to serve an 18 month mission in România and Moldova! I couldn't be any more excited to serve the people there! Some of my favorite things to do are singing, playing the piano, and strumming along on my ukulele. I love meeting new people and trying new things. I absolutely love laughing and I'm usually seen with a smile on my face. My family is extremely important to me, and spending time with them is one of my favorite past times. Travelling the world is the best thing, and I've been to Europe, Asia, all over Canada and The United States. Soon to be România and Moldova bound, and it couldn't come faster.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the gospel. I'm a Mormon because my life is blessed and I am truly happy. I'm a Mormon because I know that God loves us and that he has a plan for us. The atonement of Jesus Christ covers me in happiness for I know that I am not perfect and although I make mistakes I can continually be striving to be like my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that by keeping Gods commandments we will be blessed and have true happiness. I know that by doing what God asks of us, we will find true joy and peace within our lives. I am a Mormon because I know my family will be together forever through Gods plan that he has for us. I know that Latter Day Prophets speak the word of God and by listening to them we can be guided back to live with our Heavenly Father once more. I am a Mormon, because this gospel blesses me abundantly and the happiness it brings me is indescribable.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through obedience to God's law and by striving to be a light unto others. I love helping others in any way possible, and by doing this I can become closer to my Heavenly Father. I strive to share God's love with those around me, by lifting them up and serving. Currently I am serving an 18 month mission in România and Moldova, where I want to help others know the joy that I know. I live my faith by doing the things that I know are right. Choosing to be happy, helping others when I can, and showing people that I love them. I love to be happy, and I love this Gospel for making me so.
