Hi I'm Brent

I am the father of 3 great kids. I love rural communities and agricultural landscapes. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I like the outdoors, and I love spending time with my wife and kids. I am a civil engineer working for the USDA. I love seeing the beauty in the world, and I like getting to know people.

Why I am a Mormon

I have learned for myself that this church is true by studying Book of Mormon. I have prayed to know that it is true, and I have felt the spirit tell me it is true. I have put the Lord to the test with his commandments and I have seen the blessings come. I have seen my life and that of others change, always for the better as a result of following the doctrines of the church. I have found the truth of covenants made with God. I have found him keeping his promises to me in this life, so I fully expect that he will keep his eternal promises with me, as long as I do my part. I feel comfort and peace even in hard times when I am doing my best to do what is right. I know that Jesus will come back to this world at the appropriate time, to save those who knew him, and that he knows by our actions. I am blessed to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have served as a scoutmaster for 8 years. Now I am in the bishopric for my ward, and I continue to work closely with the young men in the ward, as well as the primary and cub scouts. I am a home teacher. My favorite date with my wife is to go to the temple. The new Brigham City temple is where we most often go, and we enjoyed helping with the open house for that temple.
