Hi I'm Jessica

I grew up in Utah, am serving an LDS mission in Jacksonville Florida, am a Harry Potter nerd and...I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Utah State University. I love to read anything I can get my hands and quote movies with my sister. I also play the piano and violin. I am currently on a mission in Jacksonville Florida.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and it has always been a part of my personal and family life. The church has always seemed right to me, especially our belief that families can be together in the next life if we are willing to work for it. While I still have questions and don't understand everything, the things I do know outweigh and are stronger than my doubts. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savoir and Redeemer of the world, of me. I know that by studying his words such as the Bible, Book of Mormon and words of modern day prophets, we can develop faith in him and learn to live the type of life that will make us happy in this life and in the next.

How I live my faith

This summer, as I have waited to go on a mission, I have served as a nursery leader in my ward. It has been a fun but different experience to spend time with 10-14 little kids each week. I have also served my ward by playing the piano and organ. I also attended seminary in high school and went to institute up at USU. These activities have allowed me to make friends with others of my faith, strengthen my own understanding of the gospel, serve and just have fun.
