Hi I'm Jeff

I was raised in Texas. I'm serving as a missionary for the Church. I love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have recently graduated from high school. And am planning on going to college after I serve a mission. I love to learn new things. I love sports, and I love music. I've played soccer and Lacrosse. I like to play guitar and create things. I love my family and I love my church.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. And I chose to be baptized when I was eight. I grew up not really having a testimony or in other words not really knowing the teachings of the church to be true. But I did believe even though I didn't have a witness from the spirit. As I got into my teenage years I had experiences here and there where a warmth and peace would enter my heart when I pondered things. First I knew that there was a God and he loves me, that alone brings great peace and happiness. I gained testimony of Jesus Christ's atonement, and of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. Then I learned that we have a real living prophet today. and that the LDS church was the church of Jesus Christ on the earth. This testimony gives me strength to deal with my mistakes and with my trials. This testimony brings me both peace and happiness and almost nothing is more precious than that.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday of my life. I keep God's commandments, I study the scriptures and I always try to do what brings me closer to God. Part of living my faith is my church activities, I have been assigned to visit certain families in the wards to be there friends and help them if they ever need it. I have decided on my own to serve a mission for two years. So that I can show others how to obtain happiness through Jesus Christ. God has blessed me immensely and this is how I can use what I've been given to help others. How I live my faith is an everyday thing, my actions are different my words and thoughts are different, when I am really using my faith. I am by no means perfect, and that is why I need Jesus Christ.
