Hi I'm Elder Bischoff

I'm 6'6". I'm a missionary in Japan, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to hike, bike, camp, ski, and pretty much do anything in the outdoors. I thoroughly enjoy sports, and my favorites are basketball and track (I threw discus and shot put). I enjoy reading, and my favorite series is the Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. I also play the piano, saxophone, and guitar. I was a college student at Brigham Young University, and I am studying electrical engineering. I am currently postponing my education to serve a two year mission in Tokyo Japan.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, and have gone to church most every Sunday of my life. When I was young, I went because my parents made me, but as I grew, I began to see how much the church has helped me. The teachings of the Church, have helped me to become a better person, and to become someone who I am proud of. The Book of Mormon has given me comfort and council during times when I thought my trials were insurmountable. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church on the earth today, and that Joseph Smith restored it through the guidance of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I love this Gospel, and I will always live it.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a 2 year mission in Tokyo, Japan. I spend each day teaching people about Jesus Christ and the Church. Life throws many challenges at us, and I have found that I can overcome all of those through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I study the scriptures ever morning, and by applying them to my life, I become a better and happier person. I want everyone to gain that same happiness, which is why I chose to serve a full-time mission.
