Hi I'm Catherine

I teach ballet. I love repelling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The world is like one big playground. I love to find adventures from waterfalls to a swing set in a nearby park. I am a ballet teacher for adorable little girls. I love to pretend with them that we are princesses or butterflies, I probably have way too much fun at my job. I love learning and attend classes at the University. I hope to one day get my degree and maybe even go on to become a Physician's Assistant. I take life one day at a time and do my best to embark on spontaneous adventures as much as possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. I grew up going to church every Sunday, but my own conversion has been slow like a sunrise. I live each day and am blessed with moments that take my breath away. I am comforted by the teachings of the church. As I live my life in accordance with what I have been taught I find myself overwhelmed with happiness and love for the people around me. I have a knowledge that there is a Father in Heaven that loves his children more than we could ever comprehend. I know that he created a plan for each of us so that we could return to live in his presence. As I study the Bible and the Book of Mormon I feel such peace at the words of the prophets, and their hope for the future. I know that both works of scripture are on this earth to guide us mortals. I know that I am happiest when I am choosing the right. I love being a part of the church. I know that my life is enriched because of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior, He atoned for the sins of the world and I know that he knows the feeling of my heart. I know that when I feel lost and alone, he is always there for me.

How I live my faith

I love reaching out to people that need a friend. Through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I have been blessed with opportunities to serve people in my community. Sometimes people just need a shoulder to cry on, or a bag of frozen vegetables to get them through the day. I have made so many strong friendships through my membership in the church. When I'm serving others I forget about my own problems, I forget about myself and develop so much love for those around me.
