Hi I'm Sheila Gifford

I'm a Mormon I am from Salt Lake City. I am retired and I love family history..

About Me

I enjoy collecting family history and occasionally illustrate it as I go along using historic costumes from books and the internet. I feel these ancestors are aware of my interest and notice what I do for their records.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints since 8 yrs old. When about 12 I came to understand how wonderful it is that the Lord Jesus and the Father appeared to the prophet Joseph. His faith and obedience over time meant that the Church of our Savior could be restored in our day. This testimony has been with me all my life and I love to express it. My close feelings to the Father and Jesus are the fabric of my life. Authority from Apostles Peter James and John brought to the Prophet Joseph Smith gave lasting power to the teachings which have spread from this church for over 183 years. I know this gospel is for every child of God in every nation race and continent. I know word of it will keep flowing until everyone has a chance to hear it. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is truly just exactly that. It is a privilege for me to put this testimony out to you. We have a prophet in Thomas Monson today. We have twelve Apostles living now. Further investigate my words and see and feel for yourself. Thank you for reviewing my testimony. Sheila Gifford

How I live my faith

My most important relationship is with my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. I pray daily and attend church where I love to feel refreshed in the faith of my friends there. I visit teach a few women in my neighborhood and I try to sustain them in the hard pressure life excerts on us all.
