Hi I'm Nick

I grew up in Texas. I played soccer from the age of 4 until 19. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 19 year old with some big goals in life. I am studying to be a business major and ultimately become a sports agent. I have played soccer since the age of 4 and have loved every moment of it. I have attended a few semesters of college already and I am now about to serve my mission in the Bogota South, Colombia mission. I have 3 siblings. I look up to my brother, for he has been an amazing example in my life. I also have two younger sisters who I strive to set a good example for. My mom and dad have been my rocks throughout my life. They taught me to always give my full effort in to anything I am doing. They raised me in a loving way with their testimonies standing strong through times of trial.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know everything about this religion is true. I know that as I continue to serve The Lord and do what He asks of me, I will continue to have His spirit to be with me always. Religion is more than believing it's true, it's a way of living. I keep my standards high and I strive continually to be like Christ because it is how I want to end up. If I am continually seeking ways to be like Christ I will continue to feel His presence with me and I will never feel alone. I have felt The Lord's love through His atonement for my sins. He has felt all of our pains and it is only through Him and His everlasting atonement that we can truly be forgiven of our sins. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet and leader of this church. I know that he was guided by The Lord. I know that President Monson is the true prophet today and that he is lead and guided the same way as Joseph Smith and the prophets of old. I love The Book of Mormon and I love this church with my whole heart. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith not only in my heart but also in my actions. I know how much love The Lord has for me when I am doing what He desires of me as opposed to when I am not. I strive to be a good example to all those around me. I have had my lows but I know that as long as I do what The Lord asks me to do I will always have His love and support. I have a firm testimony in this church. I know that it is the true church on the earth today and that is why I live the way I do. I live my faith by choosing to keep my standards high, not doing it because I am forced to do so.
