Hi I'm Cailey

I will be serving in Utah. I am so excited to gain all the wonderful experiences that are out there!

About Me

I love working with kids. When I return from my mission I will continue to work with kids and hopefully settle down and a few of my own. Family is one of the most important things to me. I couldn't imagine living my life without having my family there for me. I love them so much!!! .

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I found comfort and peace from the teaching of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I lost a very close friend when I was 16. I couldn't make sense of anything. After a while I was ready to just give up. I didn't care about anything. I was at church one Sunday afternoon and the talks I heard during sacrament I felt were directed at me. I began to feel an overwhelming peace and comfort that my friend was in a better place and no longer suffering. I was grateful to know this. The main reason I love this church is because of our knowledge of the after life. I am grateful to know that I will be able to see my friends and family again after we leave this world.

How I live my faith

I have been a primary teacher for about 8 months. I love it!! I teach the CTR 5 class. The children have taught me a lot.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Cailey
No unclean thing can enter the presence of God. In order to be made clean we need to be able to be forgive of our sins through the process of repentance. Baptism in a step in this process. It allows us to have our sins washed away. We do baptisms for the dead so that they may have the chance to be made clean. It is still their choice if they accept the gospel. Show more Show less
