Hi I'm Tanne

I'm a film fanatic, obsessed with chocolate, missionary in London, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Virginia, but have lived most of my life in Utah. I am the youngest of 6 kids, and my siblings mean everything to me. I hated being the youngest when I was little, but I love that I have 5 great examples to look up to. I did one year of studies at Brigham Young University and am thinking about majoring in either french or film. Now I am serving a mission in London--the best place in the world! I am messy, disorganized, and not very good at school--but I try! I love music--I'm not amazing at it, but I love to play the violin and piano and try to sing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this gospel, and I'm so grateful I was. My parents are amazing--I think they are the smartest people in the whole world, and I trust the things they've taught me. I've also learned that these things are true by living it. As I've gone to church, read the Book of Mormon, and prayed to my father in heaven, I've gotten multiple answers that tell me the things I believe are true. All of my doubts lead back to one fact: Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God. A boy with no education could not have produced this book in 63 days unless it was by God. There are also 11 witnesses that claim to have seen this event, and their claim can be seen by the way they lived their lives and the fact that they NEVER denied what they saw. Every time I pray, I get my answer from Heavenly Father that it is truly his word. The fruits of the Book of Mormon have really blessed my life and brought me so much happiness--I wouldn't have it any other way. :)

How I live my faith

I am a missionary for the church, so I have dedicated 100% of my time for 18 months to sharing the gospel with everyone. Nothing has made me happier than inviting others to learn more. It's so cool to see firsthand how happy the gospel makes families!
