Hi I'm erin clayton

I grew up in Alaska. I love snow, and chocolate, and simple things. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love country. I just love simple things. when I think of the best day, i think of doing things with my family- going camping or just watching movies. I love music. Dancing is fun even though I'm no good. :) I love to share what makes me happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because i know that the book of mormon is true. i know that a lot of people are the religion they are, because they were raised that way... but i can say that i have chosen to be a mormon because i have found out for myself that it is true. Some people ask me why i want to be apart of a religion that is so strict. i believe that when we truly understand what the purpose of life is, we will be able to see clearly, what brings us real happiness.

How I live my faith

In my ward, i love to serve! for anyone who is in need, i love to do small things that will make their day better. i was an assistant girls camp director, in the young women's i served as class president and secretary. I found that as i learned more about the people i was serving, i loved them! I guess that is why we serve in the church, to see people as Christ would see them.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

I believe that the Bible is the word of God. It is a testament of Jesus Christ- and we frequently teach from and study it's teachings. The only difference with Mormons, is that we ALSO believe in the Book of Mormon. It is another Testament of Christ. The Bible takes place in Jerusalem, and the Book of Mormon takes place in the ancient Americas. The Bible and Book of Mormon go hand in hand- so we dont just read out of one, or the other, but both. We do believe that the Book of Mormon contains the fullness of Christ's gospel- and that as we read it, we can come closer to Christ. Show more Show less
