Hi I'm Zerin

I have lived in Arizona all my life. I love to listen to music, write songs, and sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from High School and am going to serve my mission In Los Angeles. I love music in general, I could just listen to music all day. I was in 2 of the top choirs in the state of Arizona, including a vocal jazz group, and an 80 voice choir. I also have an interest in writing music and playing in a band with my friends. Along with music, a hobby of mine is being in the outdoors. I love to camp and enjoy all of Heavenly Fathers wonderful creations. I love to hike and see the world from a different perspective.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my whole life. Same with my parents and my grandparents. It has always been there. When I was younger, I definitely did not quiet understand the importance of church and why I needed to do certain things, but as I've grown up my friends, my adult leaders, and my parents have shown that this church can bring great things into my life. I know that Christ came to this earth to make a way for us to return and live with him and it was only through his atonement that I would even have the faith and courage to serve a mission and teach the same principles that he taught while on the earth during his ministry. I know that the fullness of his gospel has been restored and that the Book of Mormon is the Word of God. I know life brings challenges, and that life wont be easy but I do know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are always there to help us. I am thankful for my ancestors that were taught the gospel and passed its teachings from generation to generation so that I could live in this day and have the gospel in my life.

How I live my faith

Although I'm still in my youth, I have tried live my faith in its fullest. Although most of my friends uphold the same standards as I do, we have always tried to show how much our faith has meant to us. I try to be an example, to my teachers, to my friends, to the younger youth of my congregation, and most of all to my family. Although I'm not perfect, I Still try to show that through Christ we can still be made clean again. A calling that I have had is to play piano during one of the meetings in our church. As simple as that may be I have learned that the hymns that we sing can be a very powerful testimony to others around us. I have also been in charge of planning activities for the youth my age. We planned campouts, week long trips that not only were high adventure but faith promoting activities. My faith is extremely important to me and that is why I have decided to dedicate 2 years to the lord by serving a full-time mission, to preach and teach his gospel.
