Hi I'm Kaitlyn

I have grown up in utah. I am going to be serving a mission in Spokane Washington, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old and am attending BYU studying Nursing. I am also in the National Guard. I love playing tennis, reading and anything with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love being a member of this church. It gives me so much comfort knowing the things i do such as the atonement. I know i can return to live with my father in heaven because of this. I have the reassurance there is a life after death and also that we can be with our families forever. The peace i feel when i study the scriptures and these doctrines reminds me that this church is true.

How I live my faith

I once a month go and visit other women in my neighborhood and we talk about gospel topics and just catch up with each others lives.

Why is self-reliance important to Mormons? Why do Mormons talk about emergency preparedness?

Kaitlyn
We want to be able to be prepared if any natural disaster or emergency should happen. There is comfort in knowing that we can provide for our families if anything should happen that would limit our ability to obtain resources such as food and water. Show more Show less
