Hi I'm Peg

I am so glad to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

I am a single parent that raised two wonderful children that are now adults living on their own. I was recently blessed with my very first grand baby that is beautiful and an awesome delight! I love my country, spending time in the redwoods, watching spectacular sunsets, the ocean, writing music, playing my guitar, classic corvettes and Harley’s, Kenai Alaska, sweet cattle dogs, and cats and lop eared bunnies. I enjoy playing chess and can win a game or two.

Why I am a Mormon

I am very grateful that my loving parents chose to make the Gospel of Jesus Christ the foundation of life and did their best to make it the center of our home so it could become a solid constant in my life. Because we are all imperfect human beings none of us travels down life’s path without blemish and the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ help me to steer my direction back on course so that I can eventually become the person that I strive to be. It is not a single event but it is a journey, one step at a time. I embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ because of the sweetness that it can bring while navigating through the difficult challenges that are part of living in an imperfect world. I am grateful for a loving Father in Heaven who keeps his arms out-stretched for me when my human-ness takes over. I am grateful for God’s gift of “grace”. Grace is NOT the absence of God’s High Expectations but rather it is the Presence of God’s Divine Help and Power provided to each one of us. This beautiful gift of grace was purchased for us long ago by our perfect Savior Jesus Christ through his loving act of the atonement. Grace walks “hand in hand” with our “best efforts”. Grace is an important element because even with our best efforts we will never be fully perfect. We will always fall short if we rely solely on our own efforts. Because of the loving Saviors atonement we can add His grace to our best efforts and works to meet and qualify for God’s high expectations. Grace is our works partner. We do not buy it with money. The Atonement made by Jesus Christ was the price tag. We combine Gods’ grace with our action of best efforts. Grace covers our remaining debt after we have done all we can do. what a BEAUTIFUL plan.

How I live my faith

I love my Savior with all of my heart and I love being a member of his church (AKA) "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints". I try to share the gospel by inviting others to attend church meetings with me and by attending classes where the gospel of Jesus Christ is taught by full time missionaries. I also love to study the scriptures for in them are the things God wants me to know.
