Hi I'm Meg

I'm a Utah girl, I am a singer, I love my family, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Utah my whole life, and I love it! I just finished my first year at college, and I am the first in my family to go on a mission! I love to sing, play the piano, and read! I have the best family in the whole wide world, and music is a constant companion in my home.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in a very LDS family, but I've always known in my heart that the church was true. The first time I can remember feeling the spirit was at about 7 years old, when I started crying during a lesson about the atonement of Jesus Christ. I didn't know until later what I was feeling, but I know now that I was feeling the truthfulness of what was being said. Later, when I was about 11, I read "The Work and the Glory" and became fascinated with Joseph Smith Jr. I researched him, read about his life, his experiences, and read the Book of Mormon all the way through when I was 12. I knew at that time that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God who restored this church to the earth. Ever since, I've never had a doubt in my mind that the church is true. I have been blessed with many good, and some very hard experiences that have shaped my life and my testimony to where it is today. I don't know where I would be without the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but I know I could never be as happy without it as I am now.

How I live my faith

I have always been in leadership positions since I was a young woman. When I graduated from High School, I was the pianist for the women in our ward, and then played the piano for the little kids. I was also assigned to visit and get to know three women in our ward. Now I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love my call to serve the people in the Iowa Des Moines Mission!
