Hi I'm Norm

I am a mormon who moved to Utah in 2007. We have many wonderful friends here.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful wife and we have seven grown children. We are both adult converts to the Church and have developed both socially and spiritually as a result of our joining the Church. I am a happy man.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Episcopalian and, although I believed in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, I didn't feel the religion was giving much guidance in my daily life. I didn't attend any church for many years. About 40 years ago I had a significant car problem on a trip to Utah and didn't know what to do to repair it. There are a lot of details that I won't go into here, but I had the distinct feeling that I should go to the Mormon Church. I found a church building and saw several people exiting the building and I asked them if someone could provide me a place where I could repair my car. I was directed to a wonderful family with six or seven children. As I worked on my car, I saw a happy family as I not experienced before. Don't get me wrong, I grew up in a good family, but this family exuded love and happiness. There's a lot more to this story but the bottom line is that this experience opened the door for me to join the Church. It was the great turning point in my life.

How I live my faith

My sife and I attend our church meeting and have served in many different callings. We have been involved in family history and have enjoyed finding and getting to know our ancestors.
