Hi I'm Autumn

I was born in Utah, raised in Texas and am currently about to graduate with my BS in Education. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah but moved to Texas when I was only eight. I have been blessed to grow up with a loving family who has always been there for me. I grew up among people from all walks of life and I loved that about the Houston area. When I was younger I always had a love of dance but was never very good at it myself. I love to be outside enjoying the beautiful earth Heavenly Father has given us, it is even more enjoyable when I am spending it with friends and family. I love to hike and be active. I love to read and become immersed in another world. I am currently going to school to earn my BS in Education. I love to teach, at times it is still nerve wracking because I am still so new to it, but I absolutely thrive on the look a student gives me when a concept finally clicks, they get it, and find their own passion for the subject.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were both members of the church and I was born into it as well. At the age of 8 I was asked if I wanted to become a member myself and decided to be baptized. I am so grateful for that decision so many years ago. I have come to know my Savior in such a personal way. I know that our Heavenly Father loves each of us individually and has a plan for each of us. I know that my Savior died for me and lives again so I may live again too. I know the power of the atonement is real and that it can touch each of us for the better. I am grateful for the opportunity to be on this earth at this time and I am so grateful for the opportunities and trials that have been put in my path to make me a stronger and better person. I love being a member of His church, I love the closeness I feel to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I was raised in the LDS church since I was born. I have always felt at home, and like I had a place among those who are in the church. I attend a university that is affiliated with the LDS church and I love every minute of it. I enjoy being able to prepare to teach my peers every Sunday in our meetings. I have found more joy and friendship within my faith than anywhere else and I love it.
