Hi I'm Sam

I've been raised in the church and I've learned for myself the truth and happiness of it. It makes me who I am. =)

About Me

I just completed high school and am ready to serve the Lord to the best of my abilities! I have two brothers, one older and one younger, both of them being my closest of friends. Often we would play a variety of video games to bring us together, but now in the past year we have come together in a different way that is far more effective. I have always been one for tinkering around on the computers, however on the more artistic side of computers. For example, one of my favorite hobbies is creating films and short videos with my friends. Another is digital photography as well as some more minor things. However, recently in my life I've phased away from the computer because I've discovered something that makes me remarkably happier. That being the love and happiness I share when I am with my best friends, we make each other laugh and have a fantastic time doing fun activities such as going to movies, going out into the mountains to hike or go rock climbing, going to the temple, and many other fun activities. My life is centered on my love for my friends and family. Without them I would not be the same, however I would push forward, because the Gospel of Jesus Christ is my guide and will always take me down the right path no matter who surrounds me. I love all, whether family or even a stranger who crosses my path. I am nowhere near to being perfect, but as I continue through life I will try my best to be the best me I can be!

Why I am a Mormon

My testimony is strong and I am ready to share with the world the great happiness and the wonders that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has to offer. I wish to bring people unto Christ that they may partake of the peace and love we all share as members. My life is devoted to loving others; I have the greatest friends who I consider my family. I do my best to show my love for all. I try hard to become as my divine brother Jesus Christ. Through His teachings I have come to know a happy and meaningful way of living, a life filled with hope and purpose. I haven't always been this way though, as a child I would be rowdy and troublesome with my brother but as I've grown into my teenaged years I'd been burdened with many trials which I had not faced as a child. Through these trials I'd sought for help and comfort. Having never really paying much attention to the Gospel around me I struggled. But as time passed I listened more and looked carefully for a way out, I'd looked to the church for relief and took that path. Ever since that decision I have continually been growing and growing until I am who I am now, a loyal and humble servant of our Father in Heaven and His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Now I seek to bring as many as I can down this same path, so that all my friends may return to live with God again because I know with all my heart that this is the one true church on this Earth and no one or no thing can make me believe otherwise. =)

How I live my faith

I live my faith with honest integrity and full purpose. I know most of the people in my ward they are all my friends. I fulfill my responsibilities in my ward to my fullest and do all those things necessary to appropriately contribute and socialize with the entire ward. However, the biggest highlight of how I live my faith is through the example that I set with my friends. The life my friends and I live is a life of righteousness, hardships and love. Every week we drive to the nearest temple and perform family history work. Others all around us have seen the great love we share and they ask if they could join us; we gladly accept those into our group of friends informally known as the "Temple Group" because of how often we go to the temple of Our Lord. This group has had the profound effect of bringing about many to true conversion unto the Gospel of Jesus Christ. However, with all these miraculous blessings that surround us, we are faced with grave trials and hardships, some of which threaten to harm certain persons afflicted. But together we push through these with the strength and knowledge we receive through the Gospel. We firmly believe that we can overcome any trial that is placed before us. We stand as youth ready to take on the evils of the world, we strive to be a light for those who live in the darkness of the world. I will stand strong in my faith in Jesus Christ and His church. I live my life through my faith. I can't think of a life any better to live...
