Hi I'm Debbie Bulger

I grew up in Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada. I've been a Mormon for 30 years. Most of that time as a stay-at-home "Mom"

About Me

I am happily married. I love singing, cooking, crafts, reading, camping and especially being a Mom to 9 children, grandmother to 11 grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

Because of health challenges after the birth of my first child, I had a strong desire to attend a church, even though for most of my life, I did not attend any church. My husband and I started looking amongst the denominations that were familiar to both of us and joined the Presbyterian faith for a time. A young mother's group taught me how to pray and we read from the scriptures regularly. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour, when I read a book that was suggested by one of it's members...." Countdown to Armageddon." After that, I was praying every day to learn more of God's truth. My intent at the time was to gain more understanding and knowledge, as I read from the King James version of the Bible. God felt I was ready for more and sent two Mormon missionaries to my door. There was a special feeling when they came and taught us the gospel of Jesus Christ. They brought me the answers I was looking for and I received a powerful witness that they were telling the truth. I have never doubted since, that it was the best decision I ever made. I can't imagine where I would be without the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life and the wonderful blessings I and my family enjoy because of that decision.

How I live my faith

Currently I am the women's group leader in our ward and love to work with the women in our church to help organize activities and compassionate service projects.
