Hi I'm Levi

I was born in Colorado and I currently live in Pueblo. I'm going on a mission to Brazil. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a son in a family of a mom, a dad (the Bishop), and two brothers and two sisters. I love being apart of a big family. I also love the ward I'm in and all of the friends and relations that I have. I just graduated highschool and I'm going on a mission to Brazil in just a little while. After that my plan is to go to college at CSU Fort Collins. I can't wait for either of these huge parts of my life. For fun I like to play soccer, ultimate frisbee, golf, frisbee golf, football, and most sports. Lol except for basketball. I'm not a huge fan of that one. But I love playing sports just for fun with my friends. I also enjoy read my scriptures and other books. I'm a huge fan of Dan Brown and his books. I also love good food, and good company.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints simply because I know it's true. I know it with all of my heart and I wouldn't be going on this mission if I didn't. I cannot wait to spread this gospel to those who are waiting to hear it. It's the good news of Jesus Christ and his atonement for us. I have it and have a testimony of it and I want others to have it as well. I can't wait to teach and share my spirit and testimony. This church is true and I don't doubt it at all. Christ is my Savior and because of Him, I can return to my Heavenly Father again someday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being faithful. No really. Because what is faith but believing in Christ and acting upon that knowledge? I enjoy serving those around me and being happy with those around me. I love spending time with my friends. Christ is my example. I try to live like Him in all that I do. I try to keep my life centered around Him so that I can have the Holy Ghost with me as a constant companion. As a youth, I've held many different callings in the young mens organization (12-18) and I've really enjoyed working with my friends to bring lost boys back to the group and to plan activities and lessons. But the hardest calling I've ever had is that of being a hometeacher. It isn't an easy thing but hey, who said it was supposed to be? I just know that we're commanded to do it and that it's important. I've been able to do a number of service projects for an elderly sister that I've hometaught for a long time and I've grown to love her hopefully like Christ does. Another calling that I've held in the church has been being the Assistant Cub Scout Master. I'll be honest, at first I didn't like it and I was confused as to why this calling was given to Me. But now I love the boys and I love being a part of their progression in scouting. It's been very rewarding for me to watch them grow up and mature. I know that this calling has been for me. It's amazing what the Lord knows. He knows what's best for us when we don't. Something else that I've been blessed with the opportunity to do is speak in other wards. It's been very scary but very rewarding for me and I think it's been a blessing for me. But to sum it up, I know my Savior lives, and I want to be like Him. I try to live my life up to that goal.
