Hi I'm Kristen

I'm a fan of chocolate milk and sea foam green! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love coloring, swinging, singing, cooking, laughing, and spending time with my family, friends, and young children. I just enjoy being happy and making other people happy. Life is more fun that way. :) I am currently a missionary in the Georgia Macon Mission. I love being a missionary! Sharing the gospel has been the greatest blessing in my life!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are wonderful and taught me, through their example, the teachings of Jesus Christ. We attended church every Sunday, additional church activities, and spent many evenings and weekends helping others. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I have felt His love for me as I live the teachings in the scriptures, and as I have prayed to know they are true. I know they are true! I am happier when I am keeping the commandments and trying to be more like our Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

There are so many things that I know to be true, but what really counts is how I show what I believe. I often think of how I would act if the Savior was by my side. What would I say? How would I treat others? I know that others are always watching us, whether we recognize it or not. Being an example of how the Savior would act is powerful! We can do little things each day to show that we believe in Jesus Christ. I have found that small, simple things really do lead to bigger, and better things. As I read my scriptures daily and pray to my Heavenly Father, I feel His love immensely throughout my day. On the other hand, when I put those small things on the back burner, life seems to slowly fall apart. I know that living the teachings of Jesus Christ bring us joy, happiness, and peace in our crazy and sometimes hectic lives!
