Hi I'm Tracey

I'm a married stay at home Mum who has just become a very proud Grand Mother and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Chorley, England and I've been married for 23 years to a wonderful man and we've had 5 children. I joined the Church at 21 and must admit the reason I looked into it was not because I had some great spiritual experience but because I knew some members and knew the life they tried to live was good. This was what I wanted for myself and my family. I love reading, singing, spending time with my family and friends, playing games, rock climbing and I love going to the gym. I love the fast and furious classes and started running too. I ran the Race for Life last year and felt brilliant doing it. I love trying new things. 'Jack of all trades, master of none', that's me!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because it's the best way to live! I want to be the best person I can be and being a member of the Church helps me to become closer to that person. When I first joined I thought 'Hey, this is a nice lifestyle and I feel good' now I think 'I am a Mormon, I know it, I live it, I love it.....and I wouldn't want to be without it!

How I live my faith

I have tried so many things since joining the Church. Being a member and serving in different areas has encouraged me to spread my wings and try something new. I have built confidence in organizing and speaking in public. My heart has been softened towards others as I have worked closely with different age groups. I currently serve with the Primary children and I love it. How do I live my faith? I live it daily. I try to be honest in all things....I have had some strange looks at tills when I have told the cashier that they have paid me too much change' I try to speak more kindly, act more thoughtfully, give more generously and love more fully, but hey....I'm a work in progress!
