Hi I'm Caleb S. Wolthuis

I grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah. I enjoy the outdoors and family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born on September 14, 1994 in Ogden, Utah. I have three brothers two older and one younger. I am an uncle of two twin baby boys. I love to be in the outdoors, hunt, fish, ride horses, hike, and explore. I enjoy boating and riding dirt bikes. I love to play sports mainly football, basketball, and soccer. I also like to snowboard in the winter and sled with family and friends. I love to work and get things done especially around my house or in the yard. My family is very important to me and I enjoy getting together with them often and making fun memories.

Why I am a Mormon

Because two LDS missionaries found my great great grandpa Hindrick Wolthuis in the Netherlands and he joined the chruch. My Family has had the great opportunity to be a part of this wonderful work ever since. The other part of it is because I have a FIRM testimony that it is true. I know that Heavenly Father knows us perfectly and loves us unconditionally, Jesus Christ is our perfect example and he did live on the earth, performed miracles, was crucified and rose again. He lives today willing and ready to help us. A 14 year old boy, even Joseph Smith knelt down in humble prayer in the sacred grove and he indeed saw God the Father and His beloved Son Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith Translated the Golden Plates and Restored the Gospel to this dispensation. We have living Prophets on the earth today who lead us and teach us what God would have us do. Thomas S. Monson is our living prophet on the earth today who speaks for God. The Book of Mormon is True and a man can grow closer to God by abiding by its teachings. Temples are a wonderful place of learning and a sanctuary for peace and the ordinances in the Temple are real and eternal. I know that this Gospel is real and that Jesus Christ is my best friend, Lord, and Redeemer. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I have been a 1st counselor in the deacons and teachers quorums and I was the assistant to the bishop in the priest quorum. I leave for the MTC on July 17, 2013 to be a full time missionary in the Japan Sendai Mission.
