Hi I'm Johnny

I was born and raised in Arizona. I love the Haitian people I have served. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just returned from serving a full-time mission in Tampa, Florida. I served the Haitian people in Southwest Florida. I love Baseball. Sports in general. I will continue my education to receive my Bachelor Degree in Education and History.

Why I am a Mormon

I found the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through one my best friends in High School. We were both on the Varisty Baseball team. I was wanting to find something more and stop the things i was getting into. Luckily, he knew exactly how to help me. He being one of 2 members on the team, he invited me to come with him to Seminary. Seminary is a class you go to off campus to learn more about Jesus Christ and His Gospel. However in some states, as mine, it is during school time. He invited me to go and i accepted, ditching my other class i had planned to go too. I am very grateful for that time because i was able to feel this wonderful feeling. Later finding out, it was the Holy Ghost. As i was continuing to know more by meeting with the missionaries, i had a problem. I had to wait to I was 18 years old. My parents wanted me to act for myself. I am very grateful and thankful for them because through their inspired discision i was able to grow in my testimony of the Gospel. I spent a year and half learning through multiple sets of missionaries, both Elders and Sisters. Near the end of my Senior year I was Baptized by someone holding the proper Authority. I continued in my endeavors of growing my Faith. Through a Patriarchical Blessing. Later on, through much prayer, I felt I should serve a Full-time Mission. I talked with my family, still not members of the church, and with their love I sent in my papers. I received the call from President Thomas S. Monson that i will labor in the Florida Tampa Mission speaking Haitian-Creole. I knew then that is where I needed to serve. As i have labored amongst them I have grown to LOVE the Haitian people. They are apart of my Family. Now I continue to share the Gospel and to share my light with my family.

How I live my faith

I strive to help everyone come unto Christ. I love working with the youth. They are the future. Doing what i can in the community can help others know more about the happiness I have.
