Hi I'm Gabrielle

I'm a photographer, love reading, soft spoken, a missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a shy girl, soft spoken and one to stay in the background most of the time. I'm a great listener and love helping people and give people advice when needed. I love reading, it's one of the best things to do. I love photography and taking pictures of nature, it's what I will be going to school for. I love singing and listening to music. I mostly hang around my family, my sisters are my best friends. I have a group of friends who help guide me and will always be there for me during my struggles.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have grown up in the church and have been taught the lessons and followed in my parents guidance at a young age. I continue to be a Mormon because I know this church is true, I've felt it and I've prayed about it and I have received an answer. I know that this church is true, I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ and that they aren't just stories. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and that he did restore the gospel to this earth. I know that Jesus loves me and that he suffered for me so I can return to Heavenly Father and that I can repent of my sins. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the true and living prophet on this earth and that he will guide us in these latter days. I know that Heavenly Father loves each of us and knows all of us and helps us in our times of need. I know that by following the teachings of the gospel and by staying strong in my beliefs that I will return to our Heavenly Father. I know that with our trials come great blessings, and by holding on to the Iron rode we can overcome our burdens and our trials. I love my family and know that I will get to have them in my life for eternity. I know these things to be true and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by showing a good example for others. I was a leader in my young women's class, and have organized some activities and social gatherings for the youth. I live my faith by living the standards that have been taught and by living the commandments. I live my faith by showing kindness and helping people who need help in times of need.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Not all Mormons are required to serve a mission. It is their choice if they want to or not, and even then it is something that the individual has to pray about and get their answer. That decision to serve is a personal one, one that they shouldn't just accept because they think that it's expected of them to serve, but to honestly and sincerely pray about. We all have our right to chose. Show more Show less
